Kitty “Purr-cation” at Arcata Veterinary Hospital
Are you looking for a comfortable, peaceful, loving place for your feline friend while you are out of town?
We provide boarding accommodations exclusively for cats. Our feline guests enjoy a cat-only quiet area with soothing music and stress reducing pheromones to help them relax. During their stay, they are provided with time outside of their resting areas to climb our cat tree and explore their surroundings. This, combined with lots of TLC from our team members, ensures your cat will have a pleasant, cozy “purr-cation” of their own until you return to town.
Guidelines for Our Feline Guests
To help ensure the safety and health of our boarding guests, we limit our accommodations to current patients. We ask that your feline family member be current on their FVRCP and rabies vaccines, and be current on their yearly fecal exam to ensure they are free from parasites. We will be happy to examine your pet and update theses items prior to their boarding stay with us if needed.
All of our guests are fed quality food and provided with cozy bedding, but feel free to bring your own food and bedding from home if you would like. Small toys and any other item that you think will make your cat’s stay more enjoyable are also welcome. Please be sure to clearly label any items with your pet’s name.
