Arcata Animal Hospital is currently working on receiving Fear Free Practice Certification.

Why is this important to us?
 We would like to see our patients, clients, and staff as stress-free and comfortable as possible during their time at our hospital.  Seeing our animal companions sick or injured is stressful enough in itself and it is our goal to create a veterinary visit that relieves that fear, anxiety and stress.  Many of our staff members are already trained as Fear Free professionals and we look forward to achieving our goal of Fear Free Practice Certification in the near future.
