Types of Ultrasound Testing
Abdominal & Soft Tissue Ultrasound
Abdominal and soft tissue ultrasound is another diagnostic tool that we use to examine your pet internally. Our equipment allows us to evaluate the size, shape, and internal structure of your pet’s internal organs painlessly and noninvasively. When indicated, we are able to consult directly with radiologists and internal medicine specialists to provide even more advanced care for your pet.
Cardiac Ultrasound
We are able to complete full cardiac (heart) evaluations which include: cardiac ultrasound, radiographs of the heart and lungs, measurement of blood pressure and an ECG (electrocardiogram). This information is shared with a cardiac specialist enabling us to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan for our patients with cardiac disease.
Emergency Ultrasound
Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) services allow us to quickly evaluate our emergency and critical care patients for signs of internal bleeding, internal organ damage or lung damage.
